here is some presentation play on the alpha kids!!
in the middle of doing this it sort of hit me that they would be viewed differently in the fandom if this is the way they were canonically presented though. jane would be adored and seen as a “young dadbert” almost, while jake wouldn’t be charming at all, she’d be “ditzy” and “incompetent”, on top of being a more tomboyish lara croft.
as for roxy and dirk, roxy would more than likely be looked down on for playing video games and especially for his drinking. that leaves dirk being too perfect, making her a “mary sue”.
